A California dad has gotten a temporary restraining order against a fourth grader he says threatened his son with a knife at school.

Robert Casteel called the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and they confiscated a small pocket knife from the boy.

He was suspended for five days which Casteel feels is not enough punishment.

He says his 10-year-old son was terrified to go to school.

So, Casteel got the restraining order to keep him safe.

Sheriff’s officials say: they’ve never seen a restraining order against someone so young involving school grounds.

The Riverside County District Attorney is now reviewing the case.

What is your take on this?

Do you feel the school district took this case seriously enough?

Or, was the dad right in taking a zero-tolerance policy and getting that restraining order?

How to create a signal fire in the tundra?

This is for a school project. Say that you’re stuck in the tundra and have nothing with you but the clothes on your back and a small pocket knife. How would you build a signal fire so that you can be rescued? I’m concerned about the location of where to build it so that it can be seen by an airplane and if the winds will blow it out.

Can you guys suggest a reliable 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 inch folding knife for under $50?

and its thin linerlock failed after opening it about 5 times, and continued to fail me as I tried to open it without a successful lockup. Adding to that problem, one of the screws fell out of the knife handle itself after i had already tightened everything. The blade came nice and very sharp, but the whole package was disappointing to say in the least. i really need to pick up a new folding knife, and i was looking at the spyderco resilience, but it is a little bit high in price (i am poor) thanks for your help!

What does the marksman perk do in modern warfare 3?

I thought it simply made the red name above people’s heads visible from a longer distance. If so, this is the least useful perk in any call of duty game, especially if assassin pro cancels it out (which around 60% of people use). The only other perk that is even close to as bad is recon and lightweight from mw2. Recon pro could be useful, but the regular kind is pointless. Lightweight was only good in those marathon lightweight commando tactical knife class. Personally, it comes down to
Perk 1:
Sleight of hand or blind eye
Perk 2:
Assassin, hardline, or quickdraw
Perk 3:
Sitrep, dead silence, sometimes steady aim

I bought a Case fixed blade knife and I think it might be a fake?

It looks like no case knife I can find online. It measures almost 15″ long and the blade is 10″ long, 11/2 ” wide, 1/4″ thick and is straight. It is marked CASE XX only. The handle appears to be stag, but I am not sure now. I think I can still get my money back if it is fake. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did I get this scar?

I have 2 scars on my forearm, one across my wrist as if I cut, and one from my wrist down to my elbow there is a long scare as if I tried to kill mysel or something. The only problem is that I have never purposely cut myself. Like I have nicked my fingers a few times with a pocket knife or something, but I think I would remember getting a cut across my wrist and on my arm if they were bad enough to scar. The only thing that I think is anything is last year I had depression but never even thought about cutting. Can someone tell me what happened or how the heck they got there? Did I try and kill myself in my sleep or something?
