Filing civil suit against false PPO?

Actually, the suit will be against my ex-wife.

This is the 4th false PP that she has obtained in 10 years. The difference is that in the most recent petition, she claimed to have contacted the police and made a report. She did not contact the police and the report # that she provided was unrelated to the incident claimed. Also, I had my voice recorder on and recorded the whole exchange. The Judge exonerated me on one level by listening to the recording and telling my ex that it was obvious that I had not assaulted her or even raised my voice. On the other hand, that was all that the Judge said to her, then she issued mutual restraining orders.

I am sick of this. I’m drafting a civil suit against my ex. What I welcome is any information that anyone has about the damage that can be done to the parent/child relationship when a ppo is used to deny parenting time (I know that it was not legal but it was done and with the help of my sons school).

I also would like any information on opinions or cases of this type in any state, where the filer of the false petition is sued civil OR have had criminal charges.

Is it legal in georgia for an employer to use an audio recording device without disclosure?

Over the past few weeks I have been having conversations while at work, on my cell, when noone else was here about how I was being treated unfairly to my husband. And my boss has confronted me about things that noone else was told but my husband and one if the other girls is telling me that she has audio recorders throughout the building. I understand monitoring the employees, but she is invading my personal life and I dint see how that its legal. She has never disclosed to me that there was a recording device and I was under the impression that they had to disclose this. Since I found out about the device I have gotten in trouble for things that are extremely petty, like showing for work when her daughter asked me to, being in over time, and having my heating pad with me. I have never called in, missed work, I always do my work, others work, and ALWAYS come in on my days off to cover for her two daughters that always expect me to work for them. But after I go in for them on my day off then I get yelled at cause they have to pay me over time. But is it legal for them to do this and do I have any legal grounds, cause I’m ready to sue????!!!!!!

Freeview+HD Recorders?

My old ‘top-up tv’ digital recorder has become outdated (and quite frankly, rubbish), so I am now looking to replace the item. I am interested in accessing the HD channels, which are available in my area, so wanted some advice on which box to choose based on these criteria:

- HD Channels Available
- Recording function (as long as the box can record normal channels, I can live without the HD channels on record)
- Easy to use! Have wasted many an hour fiddling with similar, poorly made boxes in the past

voice recorder for lectures – compatible with macs?

I need a voice recorder for college lectures that picks up well in a classroom setting. I cannot use my ipod or my computer, so I need a separate recorder. I would prefer it to be under $80 (preferably less though). It MUST be compatible with macs. I tried a Google search, but not much came up. Can you help? Much thanks!

I have a Olympic VN8000pc voice recorder and all it says is system error. I have to take the battery out to turn it off. Worked fine for a year and the last time I used it I hit reverse and it just went to system error. That is all it will do. Please help. No reset.
