hemorrhoids..help?? P lease. still there.?

I’m 17 and had hemorrhoids when i was 15.
I went to the doctors and gave me medicine to apply for a week. It got so much better, stopped bleeding and hurting. However I always stil had the extra piece of skin insdie but I never did anything about it. Today I noticed as I “went” There was, alittle blood and mucus on the toilet paper. What should I do? Should I start using the medication agan? and any natural cures for hemorrhoids, mine is pretty minor..I wish it would go away permanantly..
oh and i think its external.
