how to get a girl to like you in 8th grade?

Hey. So, I like this girl in my class, but ive never asked anyone out before. I really like her, weve sat together, and are friends (shes said “your fun to screw with” playingly) but i don’t think she likes me. Ive got a reputation for being smart and a tad eccentric (not like a dork or anything), and I don’t know how to ask her out or get her to like me. Ive pretty much friendzoned every other girl ive liked, and some other guy has ased them out first.
