Don’t get me wrong, I luv Lil’ Wayne. His music, his swag, I love it all. But I think its a lot of hype going on. He can rap yea, but there are better rappers who have more skill and subject matter. Die hard Lil Wayne fans answer! Thanx!

Coming from someone who isn’t a fan of Rap- I don’t find his music anything different. It’s overplayed and mainstream just like everything else out now.

One word.
Eminem.
No one can even come close to Em lyrically.
Theres also Immortal Technique
Andre 3000
Chamillionaire
Like, Wayne has a sick flow, and freestyles most of his songs, which is awesome, And hes definatly on top of the game right now. But thats due to his work ethic. He isnt “The greatest rapper alive” And he isnt a “Legend” yet.
But dude is only 25 years old. And hes only getting better.
Number one in the game, yes.
Number one lyrically, not even close.
