Nintendo r4i sdhc dual core smart update for 3ds v3.0.0-5?

I just got the new “latest version” nintendo 3ds. I have the r4 sdhc dual-core smart update card which says it works for 3ds but i can’t get mine working correctly. Every time the 3ds starts up it says spongebob atlantis squarepantis is in system. My 3ds is version 3, and I am not sure how to tell what version the r4 card is on, its the white one that doesn’t say “new”. Here is the link, let me know if anyone can help me out, I kind of got screwed over from someone on craigslist for this r4 card that he said would work and now doesn’t. Thanks
