shined in eye by green laser?

ok so i went for a bike ride in the dark and about 20feet away outside there was a party and someone shined a green laser and im just worrying that it might of caught my eye would i know if it was directly at my eye like would i see green everywhere? and it was pretty damn bright but i wasnt temporaly blinded nor did i see green dots or anything my eyes seem normal but im just worrying
