would a magnet damage the lens of this camera?

i am working on a project and i bought this little spy camera http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/security/c52b/ and im attaching the camera lens to a bendable led light http://www.amazon.com/Heininger-5552-Flexi-Lite-Flexible-Magnetic/dp/B000G7YQES its has a magnet to pick up metal objects. will that magnet damage the lens? only the lens is near the magnet the actual hard drive and casing are at the bottom of the led flexible light. Will they get damaged form that distace and can they be damaged?
